Most repair calls start with one of these. None of them get better on their own, and water is the expensive one: a small leak wets the truss ends and the sidewall base long before you see damage from the ground.

Repair, or Start Over?
This is the question almost every owner asks first, and the answer comes down to the frame. The steel on a pole building is a wear item. The posts and trusses are not.
If the columns are solid at grade and the trusses are straight and unmodified, new roof and sidewall steel can give a tired building another few decades for a fraction of what a new building costs. That is the most common outcome, and it is why reroofing and reskinning is our busiest service.
If the posts have rotted where they meet the ground, or trusses have been cut, notched, or storm damaged, a rebuild is usually the better value. We will tell you which one you are looking at when we walk the building, before there is a quote on the table. If a replacement is the answer, the same crew can put up a new pole building on the site.
How a Service Project Runs
Four steps, and you know the scope and the price before any work starts.
1. Site visit
We look at the building in person. Steel, fasteners, ridge, doors, framing, and the way water and snow move off the roof.
2. Written scope and quote
You get a quote that names the work, the materials, and the gauge and finish of any steel. No obligation, and no guessing at what is included.
3. Scheduling
Service work is scheduled around weather and crew availability. Storm damage and open roofs move to the front of the line.
4. Work and walkthrough
Our crew does the work and walks the building with you at the end, so you can see what changed before anyone leaves the site.

Do you repair pole barns you did not build?
Yes. Most of our repair and renovation work is on buildings put up by someone else, including buildings that are decades old.
Should I repair my pole barn or replace it?
It depends on the frame. If the posts and trusses are sound, new roof and sidewall steel can give an old building another few decades of service for a fraction of the cost of a new one. If the columns have rotted at grade or the trusses have been damaged or altered, a rebuild is usually the better value. We tell you which one you are looking at during the site visit.
What is the difference between reroofing and reskinning?
Reroofing replaces the steel on the roof. Reskinning replaces the steel on the sidewalls. Many buildings need one and not the other, and they can be done in the same visit or years apart.
Can you insulate and finish a building that is already up?
Yes. Insulation and finished interiors are the most common upgrade we do to existing buildings. Options include fiberglass batt, open or closed cell spray foam, rigid foam board, and steel liner panels.
Do you handle storm and hail damage?
Yes. We repair hail dents, wind-lifted panels, and torn steel, and we can document the damage in a written scope you can hand to your insurer.
