Do I need to design the building before I call Sherman?
No — you can call or request a quote at any point. The 3D designer is a tool to help you picture the building and lock in your preferences. If you would rather talk through the options with a real person first, that works too. Call (320) 679-3438 or fill out the quote request form.
Does the 3D designer give me a real price?
The designer gives you a starting configuration that our team uses to quote you accurately. Final pricing depends on site conditions, engineering for local snow and wind loads, finish selections, and door hardware — things the designer cannot know on its own. Submitting your design triggers a real, human-reviewed quote, not an instant-pricing number.
What happens after I submit my design?
A member of our team reviews your design, calls or emails to confirm details, and builds a written quote around your site and schedule. If anything about the configuration needs adjusting — roof pitch, door sizes, wall height, post spacing — we will walk you through the options before quoting.
Can I design a barndominium or pole-barn house in the tool?
Yes. The same 3D designer covers barns, garages, machine sheds, barndominiums, and pole-barn homes. For fully-residential projects we follow up with a proper architectural plan set — the designer is a starting point, not a substitute for residential drawings.
